They said about us
What do our pupils say about us?
Magic Hill is a very nice school, it’s colourful and it’s the nicest school I’ve seen.
Nelly, 3A
I’m glad that the teachers here are nice. And that we have good food in the cafeteria. And we have a good farm.
Sofia, 4A
Our garden is very beautiful, there are swings, climbing frames and slides.
Miky, 3A
They cook very well here, we have a choice of three meals.
Inka 3.B
We have nice facilities here, archives with tools, relaxation rooms, either for teachers or pupils, and extra rooms for learning other languages.
Verča, 6th grade
The pupils and teachers are nice to each other. I also like the block teaching, where we connect subjects and learn more at the same time.
Max, 6th grade
We don’t have to memorize things. Everything we do can be used in real life. We often learn outdoors in nature, on the farm or on trips.
Krystian, 7th grade
Magic Hill has a very advanced learning system that prepares you for the real world. I learned fluent English thanks to the native speakers and the playful way of teaching. In seventh grade, you can choose from two languages. Everything is taught gradually and the school focuses on explaining instead of having to memorize everything. Another good thing about Magic Hill is the lunches. You can choose from three meals, at least one of which is vegetarian. Everyone’s choice. Much of the ingredients are from the school farm, which is looked after by the children themselves and is organically maintained and chemical-free.
Miri, 7th grade
The school also focuses on sustainability, recycling, not wasting food, etc.
Angela, 7th grade
What I like about this school is that we have a choice of food, foreign languages, and what we can say out loud. I also like the school events where we learn a lot and they are fun. I am very happy that every year we contribute to charity, either to a specific family or to a foundation. I’m happy to be here.
Ellda, 6th grade
What do the parents of our students say about us?
Magic Hill is a modern school that is not beholden to the system, but to the needs of life in the future. It encourages children to be creative, practical, participative, and above all respectful and critical thinkers. Our daughters have enjoyed coming to the school and have had a stimulating and friendly environment.
Kamila S., mother of Magic Hill Elementary School graduates
We chose Magic Hill because of its modern approach to teaching, its emphasis on developing key skills and its ability to see each child’s needs individually. We appreciate not only the professionalism of the teachers, but also their caring attitude, ability to listen and adapt their teaching to the needs of each pupil.
We also value the link between theory and practice – through projects, field trips and creative tasks, pupils learn not only facts but also practical skills that they will use in life.
Martin and Jana Š., parents of a 9th grade student
Because I have had a truly dismal experience with public school for my older son, who is already in high school, I wanted my younger daughter to love going to school, to be inspired by school and to have a safe environment. The individual approach of the teachers, the beautiful interior of the school, interesting projects instead of boring lessons, and last but not least the communication between the school and the parents. Magic Hill is a school I would want to go too.
Maria P., mother of a 3rd grade student
A great benefit is that the school emphasizes future-oriented teaching. Students learn the skills they will need in a world full of change and technology, while the leadership encourages them to think creatively and work as a team. All this in a friendly and inspiring atmosphere where children feel safe and respected.
Markéta and Jirka P., parents of a 2nd grade student
A friendly environment that develops critical and creative thinking, emphasizes respectful communication, and regularly nurtures children’s mental hygiene with an excellent school psychologist should be part of every elementary school. I consider the change in curriculum at the second level to be absolutely crucial; the merging of subjects into thematic blocks gives students a great opportunity to develop their strengths.
The nearby school farm, where children best learn about the cycle of life in nature, the excellent choice of food in the school kitchen and the beautiful garden at the school are just the icing on the cake.
Klára D., mother of a 5th grade student
